First Friday Petersfield

Business Networking

First Friday Petersfield is a business networking meeting with no formal pitches or membership, where we rely on building relationships over lunch in an informal relaxed atmosphere.

Each month, alongside our meetings, we feature three local business leaders from Petersfield and the surrounding area. Our monthly podcast, The Traders’ Table, is supported by First Friday and produced in Petersfield by Shine Radio.

First Friday has been holding regular meetings for over 26 years (since 2000), missing few months over the years (we’ll gloss-over the Covid interruption!)

Please join us for our next meeting, where you can usually expect to find a core of maybe 60% ‘regular’ alongside 40% ‘new’ or ‘returning’ attendees. Overall, expect a welcoming environment where you can meet people from across the business spectrum; from sole traders to large companies, from designers to bankers.

We meet on the First Friday of the month, upstairs at the folly wine bar. Its an informal meeting, no harsh business pitches but a chance to network with other local businesses over a 2 course lunch, followed by coffee.

On arrival there is the chance to buy a drink from the bar and around 20 minutes of open networking. There are helpers on hand to introduce you to others if you dont know anyone.

During the meeting there will be a 20 minute speaker presentation with a Q & A session. The upcoming speakers are in ‘Dates for your Diary’

We look forward to welcoming you soon.

How technology can help us transform our shared spaces, one small act at a time. If every person cared for just one thing in their community (tree, planter, post box topper) those actions can be multiplied by many hands through positive application of Artificial Intelligence.
