Friday 4 February 2022

Join us for the first meeting of the year

First Friday Petersfield is pleased to be back at the Folly Upstairs – come and join us for business over lunch.

Join us for our first First Friday meeting of 2022 at the Folly Upstairs, 4 February 2022, 12-2pm.

We’re excited to offer you, once again, good company, good food and the opportunity to develop good business.

With open networking 12-12:30, we have time to develop relationships over lunch 12:30-13:30, and a 30-minute presentation and questions to round off the session.

This month we have a presentation from Cllr JC Crissey: Petersfield Festival Hall 2030 – A Possible Revitalisation.

JC will present one possible route map to renovating the Festival Hall, with the aim of making it a major cultural and economic contributor to the residents of Petersfield.

As a project that will require major investment this is a subject that can polarise opinions, often through lack of understanding, so this is a great opportunity to hear the detail, to ask questions, and dispel the myths.

The format of First Friday gives time to catch up with people you know, time to make introductions and to start meaningful conversations. We can even offer to send invitations or make introductions if there’s someone you specifically wish to meet.

When we sit for lunch those conversations you’ve started develop as we enjoy the wonderful food at the Folly (yes, they cater for vegan, GF and other needs at the meeting!).

The meeting closes at 14:00.

The price remains £22.50 per person, including lunch and coffee. Table water is provided for lunch and we encourage you to purchase drinks at the bar.

We look forward to meeting you!

Please complete the form and submit your details, you will then be taken to a secure payment page.

Online bookings are now closed. If you wish to attend, please call 07802 860690

Please register to attend this 4th February 2022 meeting
12-2pm.

Presentation Summary

This presentation will present one possible route map to renovating the Festival Hall with the aim of making it a major cultural and economic contributor to the residents of Petersfield. A particular focus will be to consider various case studies and how they might be applied to a more ‘revitalised’ programme at the Festival Hall and how this might significantly benefit the community. This discussion will also be put within the context of how the Petersfield Festival Hall might become a much greater contributor in the making places initiative and how local businesses might benefit. A Q&A session will also be provided at the end of the presentation.
